Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Volume Creatives — Facebook Ad Library Saver Chrome extension.

What the extension does

It adds Save and Download buttons to ads in the public Facebook Ad Library (facebook.com/ads/library). When you click Save, the ad’s public information — advertiser name, ad text, call-to-action, landing-page URL, and creative image/video — is sent to your Volume Creatives account for your swipe file.

What we access

• Public ad data you choose to save — only ads you explicitly click Save on. We never read your Facebook account, profile, messages, or any private data.
• Your connection token — a code you generate in the app and paste into the extension, stored locally and sent to authenticate saves.
• A local recent-saves cache for the extension popup.

What we do not collect

No browsing history, no personal Facebook data, no tracking of pages you visit. The extension activates only on the Ad Library URL. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

Where data goes

Saved ad data is stored on Volume Creatives servers, associated with your account via your connection token. Ad creatives are re-hosted so your swipe file survives even if the advertiser stops the campaign.

Your controls

Disconnect any time from the extension popup (removes the stored token). Generate a new connection code to invalidate a lost one. Request deletion of saved data at hi@volumecreatives.com.

Permissions

• storage — store your connection token and recent-saves cache locally.
• downloads — save an ad’s creative file when you click Download.
• Access to facebook.com / fbcdn.net — read the public ad you save and fetch its creative. Access to app.volumecreatives.com — send saves to your account.
