What is CPA?

Cost per acquisition — what you pay for each conversion.

CPA (cost per acquisition or cost per action) is your ad spend ÷ number of conversions. Your profitable ceiling — max CPA — is roughly your average order value times your gross margin; pay more than that per purchase and the sale loses money.
